Following the sold-out success of our inaugural plant fair, we are delighted to welcome back Plant Fairs Roadshow in 2026 for the second Serge Hill Plant Fair as we welcome:
BrightGreenFox Nursery, Copton Ash, Daisy Roots, Freckles and Flora, Hardy's Cottage Garden Plants, Kent Wildflower Seeds, Long Acre Plants, The Orchard Nursery, The No Name Nursery, Pelham Plants Nursery, Phoenix Plants Nursery, Plantbase, Plantsmans Preference, Special Plants, The Sage Head, Wildegoose Nursery, Zophian Plants, Dan Cooper Garden, The Plant Library stall as well as Tom Critchley Garden supports, Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trusts.
As well as the chance to buy plants from 20 independent plant nurseries and plants from The Plant Library and Sunnyside Rural Trust's on-site Orchard Nursery, The Serge Hill Plant Fair will open up and bring together three iconic gardens, all a short walk from each other: Tom and Sue Stuart-Smith’s The Barn Garden; Kate Stuart-Smith’s gardens and walled garden at Serge Hill; and The Plant Library – a living catalogue of over 2,000 perennials and bulbs planted in sand and green-waste, with the community eco barn, The Apple House, home of The Serge Hill Project.
The plant fair will take place in the field in front of Serge Hill, with refreshments available across the site and a programme of speakers running throughout the day in the Apple House including:
- Anya Lautenbach, bestselling author & The Money Saving Gardener
- Hannah Fox, founder, BrightGreenFox Nursery
- Millie Souter, Head Gardener, The Plant Library
Profits from the entrance fee to the Plant Fair will go to The Serge Hill Project for Gardening, Creativity and Health, a community interest company founded by Tom & Sue Stuart-Smith, based on the understanding that working within gardens and nature can radically transform people’s health and wellbeing.
Attendance is strictly by pre-booked tickets with timed entry.
